Job Summary
Position: Compliance Specialist
Location: Angola
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team in Angola. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company and its employees comply with all relevant laws and regulations. This position involves developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance across all company operations. The successful candidate will be proactive, possess strong analytical skills, and have previous experience in similar roles.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
– Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures to mitigate potential compliance breaches.
– Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.
– Conduct internal investigations into potential compliance breaches and take corrective action as necessary.
– Stay up-to-date on changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure company policies are aligned with industry best practices.
– Collaborate with other teams, including Legal and Human Resources, to ensure compliance across all areas of the company.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree in Compliance will be considered an advantage.
– At least 3 years of proven experience in compliance roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
– Comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Certification in Compliance will be considered an advantage.
– Fluency in both English and Portuguese, both verbal and written.
